Background
Anita Werensteijn-Honingh worked as a medical PhD student at the department of Radiotherapy, UMC Utrecht.
She has completed a bachelor in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Physics at Utrecht University.
After that she completed the Selective Utrecht Medical Master with a Technical Track (offered in collaboration with the TU Eindhoven).
From 2017 untill 2021 she did a PhD project about MR-guided stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) for lymph node oligometastases.
The OLYMPOS cohort study was launched to investigate both technical and clinical aspects of (MR-guided) SBRT treatment for these patients with very limited metastatic disease.
