Background

Luuk van der Pol studied Biomedical (BSc) and Medical engineering (MSc) at Eindhoven University of Technology. After getting a taste of radiotherapy in some master courses, he choose to do his master thesis project at the radiotherapy department of the UMC Utrecht. This confirmed his interest in radiotherapy, leading to the start of his PhD in the department in the beginning of 2022.
