The AURORA project is a collaboration between UMC Utrecht and Elekta. It stands for Agility UMC Utrecht Real Online Radiotherapy Adaptation. The goal is to develop daily and/or intra-fraction adaptive radiotherapy workflows for conebeam CT equiped radiotherapy systems. There is clearly synergy with the EUfixhyperlink to EUfix tile project, however, AURORA is specifically focussed on exploring and implementation of adaptations based on conebeam CT images. The activities include topics like conebeamCT reconstruction, dose reconstruction and fast on-line treatment planning.
